David R. Kemeny
David R. Kemeny focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and counsels clients in all aspects of patent application drafting, filing, prosecution and appeal. He has presented oral arguments before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in several cases. Mr. Kemeny has also been involved in patent validity and infringement opinion preparation.
Mr. Kemeny has experience in counseling clients in diverse technologies, including oilfield tools related to downhole tool positioning, latching and anchoring, casing removal, valve systems, subsea pumping systems, downhole cutting torches, and controlled pipe expansion; semiconductor device fabrication systems; image processing and formation; network communication systems; gas-insulated power substations; electronic display screens; automobile systems and components; electromechanical devices; medical devices; wearable hygiene products, dispensers and systems; and flooring technology.
Mr. Kemeny has practiced law at two nationally ranked intellectual property law firms in Alexandria, VA. Before receiving his law degree, Mr. Kemeny worked as an engineer at an international consulting firm, where he was involved in the development and expansion of advanced traffic management systems.
