Joshua M. Shamburger
Josh Shamburger has intellectual property prosecution experience across a wide field of technologies, including domestic and international patent applications directed to biofuel reactors, oil and gas production, medical devices, polymer chemistry, immunotherapies, computer software, and the simple mechanical arts. He has prosecuted numerous trademarks, and represented trademark applicants and registrants before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
Mr. Shamburger also has significant litigation experience in patent infringement, trademark infringement, business and environmental torts, liability and multi-district litigation. Josh spent a significant portion of his career representing small businesses and property owners in the recovery of damages due to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, where he was instrumental in the litigation as the lead attorney responsible for organizing document production and database administration related to the spill. Mr. Shamburger’s expertise in e-discovery and digital forensics supports litigation for the entire firm.
