Sean Winata
Sean Winata is a technical advisor and law clerk of McCutcheon Joseph, PLLC, who assists the firm’s litigation department in Intellectual Property and Business Torts disputes.
Mr. Winata started as a law student at South Texas College of Law, and was part of the Presidential Fellowship Program. In addition, he is a member of Phi Delta Phi International Law Fraternity, Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Society.
Currently, Mr. Winata is studying at the University of Houston Law Center, where he continues his strong interest in Intellectual Property Law. Previously, Mr. Winata provided research assistance to an AIPLA speaker for preparation and presentation of a research paper on International Intellectual Property Rights – Borders and Customs issues. In addition, Mr. Winata has obtained substantial experience in successfully prosecuting trademarks before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and defending trademarks in opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB)
